Math Competitions Problem-Solving Workshop

Math Competitions Problem-Solving Workshop

Math Competition problem-solving workshop

We would like to invite your kids to participate in the online Math Competition Problem-solving Workshop during the April break.

As we all know there is much more in math than counting. Analyzing and problem-solving are the foundation of math and are used every day and everywhere, not just in math competitions.

During the workshop, kids will learn how to analyze problems, master different methods, and use problem-solving strategies. We will apply this knowledge to real problems from various math competitions.

We will also teach them how to optimize the time during math competitions and will practice writing timed tests. At the end of the course, kids will have a chance to use the knowledge they got by participating in the real competition – Noetic Learning Math Contest and discuss the results with the teacher.

The Noetic Learning Math Contest is a national math competition. The contest is one of the popular math contests in the country.

The workshop will run online for four days, from Monday to Thursday, starting on April 19th, with the following schedule:

3rd grade 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
4th grade 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

The cost of the workshop is $160.00 (the amount includes the registration fee for the Noetic math competition).

If you are interested in a similar program for grades 2 or 5, please let us know. We might be able to open an additional group(s).

To sign up your child for the workshop:

  • for our current students – log in to the Parent Portal
  • for kids outside the Studio – please fill out the Registration Form and then sign up for the workshop on the Parent Portal.

The deadline for the Noetic Learning Math Contest registration is April 1st. To participate your child in the competition, please register for the course before April 1st.

If you have any questions, please contact the office via email admin@engagingmath.com.

We look forward to seeing your kids.
