CANCELLED THIS YEAR!
ALADDIN: June 29th – July 10th 2020
This year, we will create the medieval world of Aladdin. Inspired by Persian and Indian architecture, we will explore intricate geometric patterns, build mosaics, lanterns and even castles. It’s our most ambitious summer project, and we cannot wait to build the world of Aladdin with our students! Our summer program focuses on collaborative and multi-disciplinary projects. Kids will be expanding their creative limits and coming up with their own solutions. We introduce students to design thinking: from brainstorming and designing to prototyping and testing. We channel students’ curiosity and creativity into exploring new ideas, and making their concepts come to life. Our imaginative themes inspire students to dive into hands-on engineering, design, technology and art. Project based learning for kids ages 7-13 We encourage students’ love of the design process having open ended projects. Hands on projects are an exciting and fun way to learn about engineering. Students will be exploring, inventing, designing, experimenting and building. We invite children to imagine and create, while providing the necessary tools and materials.
